We offer complementary pick up service from the Hakuba Train Station, or the Happo Bus Terminal. (If you need pick up from a different place in Hakuba, please try asking us.)
Just let us know which bus or train you will be taking, and our staff will meet you to take you to take you to the property for check-in. (Our staff will be wearing bright yellow jackets, and our car will have big paw marks.)
However, please note that this will be offered on a
first-come first-served basis and we will need at least 72 hours notice.
If you are driving or coming by other transport directly to our property...
Our staff will meet you at the property for check-in.
Please let us know your approximate arrival time, and give us a call as you come into Hakuba. Chuo-taxi and Nagano Snow Shuttle drivers know our contact number, and will contact us as they approach Hakuba.
We have free parking spaces at the house (please confirm number of spaces if you have more than one car).
The property will be warmed up, and the door open for you to settle right in on arrival. Please wait for our staff to come over in the house.
※About late check-in:
If you are arriving after 20pm, please let us know. We will leave the property warmed up, and the door open for you to settle right in on arrival (please make your own way to the house).
And please arrange a time for check-in on the next morning after 8am. Please give us at least 72 hours notice for this too.
If you want our staff to meet you for late check-in with the pick up service, the late check-in surcharge will be 12,000 Yen (incl. tax). Please let us know if needed.
Other information you need to know about your check-in
● Check-in registration form:
We are required by the Japanese law to collect guest information including the passport number of guests who do not have an adderss in Japan.
Please fill out the check-in registration form and give us the copy at check-in, or send it to us by e-mail before you arrive. (Download the form from here).
● Security Deposit:
We will be collecting a security deposit of 20,000 Yen (or 250 AUD) in cash at check-in. This will be returned to you in cash at check-out.
(This will not apply to customers that have booked through Airbnb and TripAdvisor.)
About Luggage transfer
You can send your luggage via the “TA-Q-BIN” service in Japan. Please refer to the below for details.
And please make sure you clearly write in the following information on the waybill (in the “Comments” area: ★Please refer to the picture of the waybill).
- Property name (Please don’t write the cottage name in the “Receiver’s address” area) - Check-in date - Customer name (Booking Name) - Number of luggage in total that you have sent to us (e.g. If you have 3 bags, please write “ 1 / 3 ” on the 1stbag, “ 2 / 3 ” on the 2ndbag, and “ 3 / 3 ” on the 3rdbag.)
Please note that without this information, your luggage maybe mixed up with luggage from other customers.
About Luggage storage service
Goldilocks Lounge can be used as a storage area (toilets can be used for changing too) from 8:00 am to 16:30pm for our customers that need luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. Reservation is required for you to use this service, and please give us at least 24 hours notice.
